Christmas “Time”
Having now been asked repeatedly, what is it that I love most about Christmas “time”, this thought lingers. Except while fully immersed in prayer, there is no other time during the year when the presence of God, through His Holy Spirit is more pervasive. I feel my emotions filled past overflow, with gratitude for His presence. I offer the deepest thanks for Our Lords immense sacrifice for our redemption and salvation. The peace which He offers to us, starts again each year as the foundation of our search site and presents as the pinnacle of our discovery of His perfect love. Everything else slips into a softened background, while His magnificence takes a spotlighted, center stage. Although this specific day may not parallel the actual calendar date of His birth into our world, it is the day we’ve chosen to celebrate His coming. I love how the lights of Christmas add luster to the barren landscape of earth, how they remind me of the star which appeared to signify His coming. I love how He chose to become ordinary like us. I love how the giving of gifts recalls the arrival of the three kings, wise men surely, who traveled far bearing gifts for their acknowledged King. I love how people across the earth gather in His name and raise their hands in homage to His continuing life and the continued life He alone offers to us, His devoted children. I love this time, simply because I love our Lord God and everything He does. Merry Christmas, and Happy Birthday Jesus.

Good point. I hadn’t thought about it quite that way.
