Failings Of The Weak
If every tree were the same, we’d all end up lost in the forest. Every aspect and article of our life and world is uniquely constructed from subatomic particles. Each lump of mass serves a specific purpose. Although we class similar articles and life forms into groups, none are identical. God imposes specific limitations on everything for reasons that only He knows. A rule of science says that mass can neither be created nor destroyed, a physical truth limited to a physical understanding. It can be altered, but the fundamentals continue to exist. The bible said (long before we understood mass), “All go to one place. All are from the dust, and to dust all return.” (Ecclesiastes 3:20 ESV). Again, the reference here seems purely physical, an early historical truth, later validated by science. But is this reference purely physical? The combination of subatomic particles assigned to each of us, has a very dedicated, yet limited purpose. Those guided by their spiritual being, will likely discover this purpose while those guided solely by the physics or mass of their world will not. The distinct difference here is that some will serve God’s purpose and the rest will directly or indirectly serve themselves.
“We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.” (Romans 15:1 ESV). The failings of the weak referenced here, illustrates those who go through life striving to serve their own purpose, not God’s. It’s our choice. Most of us start out doing this, but if we’re blessed, something or many things will happen, to eventually turn our eyes toward God. When that moment occurs, if we follow our gaze, God will help us to realize our unique purpose and when it’s concluded, he’ll show us the way home. If it’s not concluded, we are at risk of never pleasing God, thus returning dust to dust rather than spirit to God. When the question, “what is the purpose of life” is raised, I see those looking at their own reflections, rather than to God for the answer. Only He who creates life knows the ultimate purpose for it. It’s the spirit not the mind which will uncover the truth. While the weak toil and take from life the strong bear witness and give even more back. For in this behavior, lies the elusive answer too few will ever find. It is up to God to tell you your specific purpose, but the entire creation was to please God. As goes the whole so must go it’s parts or be lost. It’s not about us, it’s about Him.

This one is a great for those who want to find their purpose in life. The title doesn’t reflect that, hope millions read it and discover that.
