Thank You Lord

Fortunately, tribulation hysteria only manifests itself in a noticeable way every decade or so.  People with a deep rooted spiritual background know that this will happen, but will be when we least expect it.  The answer is to be ready now.

With that in mind, this is how I shall try to approach each day.  It’s not carpe diem or live every moment like it’s your last.  It’s not liquidation accounting, and it’s surely not a bucket list.  It will never be the 1,000 things I need to see before I die.  With each newly defined block of time, as light slowly transcends my veiled eyes, I ponder a life where sleep isn’t necessary.  Where all the light we’ll truly ever need, comes directly from the Son, the Father and the Holy Spirit.  From this Son, shall be unleashed all the renewable energy ever needed and delivered freely in thought.  Every leaf of every tree, will offer some beneficial contribution to a new and everlasting life, and no disease will ever subdue the leaf, the branch or the host tree that we both admire and benefit from. Nothing will be needed or expected but when received, shall never be taken for granted again.  If a bird chirps into my conscious thought, I will not forget to thank my host for such a moment.  There will be no interruptions, since time will have lost it’s linear rigidity and been replaced by a flexible sphere of comfort. Every metaphoric breath taken, will consume a limitless love that will surely embrace every aspect of our multidimensional lives. Since stars only appeared to exist in darkened skies, I will seek instead the sparkle of His laughter, a twinkle of understanding and a glimmer of parental pride from the God who has become my new universe. Rest will have become like heartache, relics from a learning time, in an unending setting of understanding.  Multi-tasking will be everything, in the service and company of God.  Praise and awe will become our new horizons.  Space will be limitless, boredom unfathomable, challenges all surmountable.  I need only see one thing before I die, Jesus as my Lord and Savior.  There will be but one selfless purpose for my life, to serve my Lord who has never failed to serve me.  The will be a single leader, who’s qualities alone will invite my following.  I will be forever thankful for the humbling of my wayward life, for the sacrifice and patient persistence of the only perfect father. Even though I don ‘t know what to expect, I pray per Revelation 22:21 that “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.
