Did Anyone Ask God?
Daylight savings time? Who had this idea to save time? Time is not a thing or object that can be saved. Said simply: we still sleep and work the same number of hours. We still; eat, rest, play, learn, laugh and cry the same number of times that we would on standard time. Our days are still 24 hours long. We can’t change time, so we choose to rearrange it, view it differently. God made winter days shorter and summer days longer for a reason, just as He made some places cold and others hot. Nature rely’s on light, hot and cold to grow crops, control pests, refresh and rest the earth and cleanse the air and waters that we need. I’m not dismissing technology for comfort and survival, but there are rules of logic to follow here.
The universe holds the secrets to our physical needs AND the capacity to destroy civilization. The only thing separating these resources is the wisdom which we employ with this knowledge. We each have gifts, people who become experts in their fields. Nuclear energy is a prime example, but of what, a universal fuel or incinerator? 70 years ago, three nations dedicated their best and brightest toward the development of an atomic solution which could end a war that they had become unwilling participants in. They succeeded using Einstein’s E=MC2, they relied on the idea that; objects energy before = objects energy after (time) + emitted energy! Once we light the incinerator, energy flows, but how much and with what force depends entirely on how we build the containment. Years later, decisions were made to use this proven destructive secret for beneficial purposes, despite the all too apparent risks involved. The results; cheap energy, 3 Mile Island, Chernobyl, and now Japan, where a predictable natural event broke open a nuclear energy containment plant, i.e. more explosions, radiation, all the results of our well intentioned, yet painfully flawed human reasoning and execution. How long before we realize that there may be some things that we just don’t have the wisdom to build and manage? God is the resource behind human knowledge and the central source of wisdom necessary to manage that knowledge. Did anyone ask God what he thought of this nuclear energy idea, and then listen to His answer? God said “Let there be light” Genesis 1:3 .. the light was good, while … “the fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them …” Leviticus 10:2. God just might have been the first of many to suggest NIMBY, ”not in my back yard”!

Solar safe, nuclear nuts. Good point!
There’s a terrific amount of knowledge in this article!
